Stallions on parade for breeding season

THOROUGHBRED breeding is set to start on September 1 and major studs around the region have been bringing out their prized stallions for broodmare owners to consider breeding with.

Arrowfield Stud on Gundy road paraded eight stallions in front of mare owners and the horse racing elite on Sunday and then paraded them again in front more mare owners and a racing media congregation on Monday.

Arrowfield Stud managing director, John Messara announced the eight stallions, which included famous sire Redoute’s Choice as well as his first son to go to stud, Not a Single Doubt.

The other stallions included Charge Forward, Snitzel, Hussonet, Danzero, Star Craft, and Flying Spur.
